Neil Diamond + Rick Rubin = Harmony

On the face of it, Rick Rubin producing a Neil Diamond album seems a little odd. Rick is mostly known for his producing hard core rock music and as much as I love Neil (and I do), Sweet Caroline and many of his other hits are as far from hardcore rock as you can get. The bottom line is that they both just really have a passion for music and Rick has always really been a fan of Neil's work. Don't laugh -- it's true! Neil's album is streaming free this week only before it goes on sale next Tuesday.
